Proverbs 29:7-9

⁷ The ^(A)righteous ^[a]is concerned for the rights of the poor;
The wicked does not understand such ^[b]concern.
⁸ Arrogant people ^(B)inflame a city,
But ^(C)wise people turn away anger.
⁹ When a wise person has a controversy with a foolish person,
^[c]The foolish person either rages or laughs, and there is no rest.
